Terms and Conditions for Fintech Frontier Awards On-Ground Promotion

(“Terms and Conditions”)

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Fintech Frontier Awards On-Ground Promotion (“Promotion”) is open to all attendees of the Fintech Frontier Awards On-Ground Event, aged 18 years and above possessing a valid national registration identification card (MyKad).
  2. The Promotion shall be effective from 4 October 2023 to 11 October 2023 (“Promotion Period”) (both dates inclusive). Participation in the Promotion is subject to strict adherence to the terms and conditions as delineated herein.
  3. The Promotion is only open to NEW customers of Kenanga Digital Investing (“KDI”), being any customer that does not already have an existing KDI account (“Customers”). By entering and participating in the Promotion, the Customers agree and accept these Terms and Conditions.
  4. Kenanga may at its sole and absolute discretion end or extend the Promotional Period without prior notice.

    I. Customers who register with KDI within the Promotional Period are entitled to a one-time sign-up bonus of RM20 (“Sign-Up Bonus”).

    II. To be eligible to the Sign-Up Bonus, a Customer must:

    a) register using the referral code “FFA2023”;

    b) make a deposit of at least RM250 (“Deposit”) in a single transaction into the KDI Invest account during the Promotional Period; and

    c) maintain a minimum investment of RM250 in the KDI Invest account for a period of 60 days from the date the Deposit is made.

    III. Kenanga may at its sole discretion reject any Deposits made. Only a successful Deposit will entitle a Customer to the Sign-Up Bonus. To avoid the Deposit from being rejected, the Deposit must be made from the personal bank account of the Customer.

    IV. If successful, the Sign-up Bonus will be automatically deposited to the Customer’s KDI Invest account within 60 working days (“Investment Period”).

    V. Please note that only Customers who register and deposit through this link will be eligible to participate in the Promotion.

    VI. By participating in the Promotion, the Customers agree to receive promotional and informational communications from Kenanga, including emails, SMS, or other forms of communication.

  • General Terms and Conditions
  1. Kenanga reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions at any time.
  2. Kenanga reserves the right to make further verifications and request for further personal identification details and documents, as well as the right to disqualify or withdraw the Customer’s eligibility for the reward at any time.
  3. The decisions regarding the promotion shall be made at the sole discretion of Kenanga, of which are final and binding and no such queries, appeals or correspondences will be entertained.
  4. Kenanga reserves the right to cancel, shorten, extend, suspend or terminate the promotion at any time prior to the expiry of the Promotion Period, and the cancellation, extension, suspension or termination of the Promotion Period shall not entitle a Customer to claim any compensation from Kenanga for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by a Customer as a result of the said cancellation, extension, suspension or termination.
  5. In the event an eligible Customer fails to comply with any terms and conditions of this Campaign, Kenanga may in its sole discretion forfeit the Sign-Up Bonus.
  6. Kenanga shall not be liable for any claim made by a Customer or for third-party claims or losses of any nature, including but not limited to, loss of profits, punitive, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages or for other damages and any related claims of any nature, including direct, indirect, third party, consequential or other damages resulting from or in connection with this Campaign.
  7. Kenanga shall not be liable for loss or damage to property or any personal injury or loss of life resulting from or in connection with this Promotion.
  8. Customer acknowledges and agrees that Kenanga reserves the rights to disqualify Customer’s participation of the Promotion or clawback any Sign-Up Bonus paid to the Customer if (i) the Customer is found or suspected of tampering with the Promotion mechanics or the operation of the Promotion; (ii) the Customer is found or suspected of undertaking fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to the Promotion; or (iii) the Customer is in breach of its obligations or any terms and conditions of this Promotion or the KDI T&Cs. Notwithstanding the above, Kenanga reserves the right to disqualify, cancel, reject any participation, and to cancel, withdraw or recall any reward(s) granted at its sole and absolute discretion without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Kenanga shall have the right to initiate any action deemed necessary against the said Customer.
  9. Kenanga does not take any responsibility in the event a Customer is prevented from participating in the Promotion, as a result of certain technical restrictions or other limitations specific or force majeure which including but not limited to regulatory and/or government directive, act of God etc.
  10. This promotion is subject to the personal data and privacy policy and general terms and conditions available on the KDI website (“KDI T&Cs”):

  13. In the event of any discrepancies, the KDI T&Cs shall prevail.
